Ebooks and ebook readers are starting to become very popular.
The iPad has just recently been introduced to the market, and is fast becoming one of the most popular.
Apple just released the iPad in April 2010, and in only one month has sold over 1 million of them.
The Amazon Kindle is also becoming very popular. Is a software and hardware platform that displays eBooks and other digital media. Just like the iPad, you can access the internet to download your eBooks and more.
The Barnes & Noble Nook provides a black and white E ink display for viewing digital content. Most of the additional content is displayed through a color touch screen.
There are a number of other eBook readers coming out on the market as well. You will need a large supply of eBooks so you will have plenty to read.

You can read novels. There is a large variety to choose from. You can read best sellers, classics, mysteries, thrillers, crime and romance, just to name a few.
- Comic Books:
Comic books are also available on eBook. Some of the comic books you can read are about super hero action, magna, anami, and comedy.
- Newspapers:
There is a large database of live newspaper sites from around the world that you can access and read. You can keep up with current events from around the world, or you can just find out what is happening locally.
There are so many eBooks to choose from. This was just a sampling of what is available on an eBook. This is just the beginning. There are eBooks free 4u, there are free eBooks, there are eBooks free, and there are eBooks that you pay for.
There are many advantages to reading an eBook rather than a paperback book. It is a green product because you do not have to chop down trees or use ink. You can access them instantly, you do not have to go to the book store and purchase them. They take up no physical space; you do not need to build a huge library room in your house dedicated to storing your books. This is very convenient and cost effective.
You never have to run out of something to read ever again. No more waiting for your favorite book store to receive the most current issue of your favorite book series. You can now download them instantly, no matter where you are at in the world. I truly believe that this is just the beginning of what is to come. Don’t get me wrong, there will always be a need for conventionally printed material, but we have just begun the eBook era of electronically accessing and reading media.
